Tim Porter’s music is complex and layered, it’s pop music with one guitar and a voice but what comes through reveals some pretty skilled songwriting and glimpse into a unique perspective. Drawing from influences such as Elliot Smith, Nick Drake, Radiohead and The Beatles as well as some relative newcomers like Jesca Hoop, Nick Mulvey, Andy Shauf, Aldous Harding and Marlon Williams.
Howlin’ Norton puts his own original energy to the traditional style of raw Delta Blues.
Howlin’ uses his bass gravel voice guitar harmonica and kick drum to create a unique sound in the tradition of Son House, Bukka White and Furry Lewis.
