California-born and Australian based roots artist Manoa weaves a dynamic soundscape of upbeat songs with positive messages and intention. Manoa’s early musical influences come from growing up sailing around the Caribbean and experiencing the music of the islands.

His playbook dives deeply into the soul tradition of James Brown, Otis Redding, and Curtis Mayfield, and updates that tradition along the lines of Alabama Shakes, Michael Kiwanuka, with an added psychedelic twist.
L'Wren, aka Lauren Edwards, is a singer songwriter from Port Macquarie who writes original tunes that are anything from soft, sweet, finger picking lullabies to bold stomp worthy sounds and everything in between. L’Wren is first started gigging almost 3 years ago and has a few festivals under her belt including Wildwood, Wingham Akoostik, Tastings on the Hastings and Envirofair. She also got through songwriting competitions to perform at Blues Fest Byron Bay and The Tamworth Country Music Festival too.

Bex was born in Devon but now based in London, the product of two very different families, one blue blooded landed gentry, the other Irish Romany. As a child she was given a 1963 Gibson Hummingbird by her Uncle David (The Marauders) and started playing, she got hooked on instrumentals and classical guitar standards which stretched her fingers and gave her a great basis for her own music to develop, flamenco, ragtime, country chicken pickin’, rock and on to blues and roots where she is now in her element.

The Shufflemen is a local band performing originals and covers of blues and other hues. Originally formed as MGT a three-piece outfit, the introduction of a fourth member cemented the feel and groove. With a new vigour and a slight change in direction the band decided it was time to re-name the outfit The Shufflemen.
